These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the website alabamaregisteredagent.co (the "Site") and the registered agent services ("Services") offered by Alabama Registered Agent.co ("we," "us," or "our"). By accessing the Site or purchasing Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Description of Services

Alabama Registered Agent.co provides registered agent services in the state of Alabama, which include:

• Maintaining a physical street address in Alabama that satisfies state requirements for registered agent designations
• Accepting service of process, legal documents, and state correspondence directed to your business entity at that address
• Scanning received documents and delivering them to you electronically, typically within the same business day
• Providing access to a secure online portal where all received documents are stored
• Sending compliance reminders related to Business Privilege Tax deadlines and other state filing obligations

We do not provide legal advice, tax preparation, business formation filing services, or legal representation of any kind.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years of age and have authority to act on behalf of the business entity you are registering. You must provide truthful and complete information during enrollment.

3. Pricing and Payment

• The service fee is $99 per year, billed annually
• Payment is due at enrollment and upon each annual renewal
• We accept major credit and debit cards as displayed during checkout
• We will attempt to notify you if a payment fails; Services may be suspended until payment is received
• Prices may change with at least 30 days written notice before your renewal date

4. Service Term and Renewal

Your service term begins on the enrollment date and continues for one year. It renews automatically unless you cancel before the renewal date. We send a reminder before each renewal.

5. Cancellation

• You may cancel at any time by emailing support@alabamaregisteredagent.co
• Cancellation is effective at the end of the current annual term
• No partial refunds are issued for unused portions of a term, except at our sole discretion
• Upon cancellation, you are responsible for designating a replacement registered agent with the Alabama Secretary of State before your service ends

6. Your Obligations

You agree to:

• Provide accurate entity information and update it promptly if it changes
• Retrieve forwarded documents and respond to legal matters in a timely manner
• Maintain your entity in good standing with the state independently of our Services
• Not use our address for purposes unrelated to registered agent service (e.g., general mail receiving, marketing materials, or personal correspondence)

7. Document Handling

• We accept documents delivered to your registered address during normal business hours (Monday–Friday, 9 AM–5 PM CT)
• Documents are scanned and forwarded electronically, generally within the same business day of receipt
• We are not responsible for the content, legal meaning, or consequences of any documents received
• Physical originals are retained for 90 days after scanning and then securely destroyed unless you request return shipping (at your cost)

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law:

• Our aggregate liability for any claims related to the Services is limited to the fees you paid in the 12 months preceding the claim
• We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages of any kind
• We are not liable for damages arising from events beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, postal service failures, or government shutdowns

9. No Legal Advice

Alabama Registered Agent.co is not a law firm. Nothing on this Site or in our communications constitutes legal advice. For legal questions, consult a licensed Alabama attorney.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Alabama Registered Agent.co, its owners, employees, and agents from any third-party claims, losses, or expenses (including reasonable attorney fees) arising from your use of the Services or breach of these Terms.

11. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the state of Alabama. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts located in Alabama.

12. Modifications

We may revise these Terms at any time. Updated Terms will be posted on this page with a new effective date. Continued use of the Site or Services after posting constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

13. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is held unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full force.

14. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the complete agreement between you and Alabama Registered Agent.co regarding the Services described herein.
